Healthy Chocolate Sauce

Chocolate sauce is the most universal topping/add-in for desserts and drinks. You can top it on fruit, ice cream, and cakes. Or mix it in your protein shake or coffee for a sweet additive.

The downside of most conventional chocolate sauces is that they are filled with junk; such as artificial sweeteners and preservatives that harm your body. So, I have a fantastic recipe for a healthy chocolate sauce that fancy’s your cravings—without all the chemicals!

DSC_0089 (1)This recipe is also fun to play around with the flavor. I like to add either cinnamon and allspice for a warming aspect, cayenne pepper for a Mexican chocolate imitation, or even a little orange zest for a fresh element. The flavor combinations are endless!DSC_0110 (1)
